Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.6
Lantern Hollow is a quiet adventure that trusts you to explore. You arrive in a fog-wrapped village where the lanterns keep going out, and piece together why by talking to residents and solving environmental puzzles.
There's no combat and no fail state, just curiosity. We appreciated how the game never held our hand too tightly; hints exist but stay out of the way. The hand-drawn backgrounds have real atmosphere, and the ambient sound design makes the fog feel alive.
It's a shorter experience, maybe four or five hours, but it lingers. Perfect for a weekend where you want a story rather than a challenge, and it runs offline from the first tap to the last.
